How it Works
Dealing with delays, long time frames, and super high costs of web development are things of the past! My process for getting your website from concept to published is simple.
Discovery
The first step I always take is learning about you, your company, your vision for the website, and even about your customers and competitors. I want to learn as much as I can about your brand so I can replicate it in my work.
Planning
Once we complete the discovery phase, I’ll get to work on planning out the details. I’ll set you up access to the project file so you can see exactly what I’m doing.
Action
Once we have a plan in order, we know what we’re doing (and how) I’ll get to work. It’s at this point that it typically takes two weeks from start to finish. I’ll need some files and content* from you. But either way, we’ll be cooking.
Launch
Within 2 weeks of working on your website, I’ll be done. This all depends on how fast you can send over your content and images. I’ll schedule another call with you after launch to show you how everything works and how to make basic updates.

I admit – I’m not great at logo designs. But I’ve done lots of them and they get the job done. I price the service accordingly.

Sometimes you need a little bit of extra help after I’ve turned things over. I try to make it easy as pie to handle things on your own, but I’m always happy to help!

Frequently Asked Questions
That was a lot. Here are some questions I usually get.
Domain and hosting only lasts a year?
No. Theoretically, it lasts forever. But I’ll cover the costs for the first year. Once I pass the site back to you, it’ll be your responsibility to renew hosting and domain name.
Why are you offering this so cheap?
Honestly, because I don’t think web design needs to be so expensive. Plus, I’m saving money for a wedding so this might sweeten the pot a little.
Can you do eCommerce?
I can. But not for these deals. You would need to get a custom designed website. The reason for that is because there’s a lot more that goes into designing and developing a custom eCommerce site.
How can I pay you?
Once we agree to the scope of the work, I’ll send you an invoice for 50% of the agreed price. This is a non-refundable deposit that will allow me to start working. Once everything is complete, and you agree that I did a good job, I’ll send you an invoice for the rest.
Why is a deposit required?
I need to know that you’re serious about the work. Web design is fun. But it’s also a lot of work. Even if I’m using templates to help make the process go a lot faster.
Is there a contract?
Yeah, but don’t be scared. I don’t speak legalese. I have a simple contract that I use to make sure you understand the scope of work. I don’t want surprises and I’m sure you don’t want any either.
What kind of support do you offer after we launch?
Right after we launch your website, I’ll set up a call with you to talk about how it went. We’ll go through to note any changes that need to happen. I’ll also walk you through WordPress and Divi to show you the basics so you can make edits.
Plus, I’ll put tutorials in your WordPress dashboard that will help you long after I’m gone.
If you need help after we’re done working on your website, I offer consultation for $25/hour.
Do you do custom websites?
The short answer – Yes.

Do you add custom CSS, JavaScript, or HTML on my website?
Yeah. A lot of times it’s needed. A few quick lines of CSS and JavaScript will add a little bit of functionality to your website without having to add a new plug in.
